ICF-Certified Life Coach, Grief Coach, and End of Life Coach, Madelon Deming from Minnesota

Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Madelon. Pronounced like “Mad-a-lyn”. My pronouns are she/her.

I know what it’s like to navigate big changes and the curveballs life throws. Those experiences shape how I coach today. I’ve lived through profound loss. The suicide of my father-figure at a young age deeply affected me. I faced prolonged health challenges in my twenties and thirties. I moved across the country several times. I also experienced a layoff that brought career uncertainty. During those seasons everything felt heavier, and the fog of not knowing what came next left me feeling stuck. What helped was having support, guidance, and space to find my way again.

Death and living losses reshape us. Transitions like retirement, layoffs, illness, and grief can feel overwhelming. They can also be isolating. This is especially true when the world expects you to just carry on like normal. I created this space because navigating loss and change shouldn’t be something you do alone. I’m dedicated to helping people process grief, rediscover a sense of self, and move forward with clarity, hope, and purpose.

My Approach

I believe the answers lie within you. My role as a coach isn’t to fix, but to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and create a grounded space for reflection. You might be processing grief. You could be navigating a career pivot or working through health challenges. Whatever is on your mind and heart, we’ll focus on what matters to you. We’ll rebuild confidence and pave a path that’s clear.

Certifications and Experience

I’m an ICF-certified coach with specialized training in grief and loss. I hold my ACC and am working toward my PCC, End Of Life, and Grief Coach certificates. My background in talent acquisition and technical recruiting provides me with a unique perspective on career transitions. It also sheds light on professional growth and aligning work with personal values. I have supported more than 18,000 candidates through job changes and pivots. I understand the emotions tied to these transitions. I’m here to guide you through them.

What’s The Difference Between Coaching & Therapy?

In coaching, you are the expert in your own life. My role as a coach is not to diagnose, fix, or prescribe solutions. We partner on your desired goals, actions, and outcomes.
